Claim of Death

The forest stood alone, separate from the world. No life roomed. Everything was dark, cold, quiet. Only a slight breeze blew, just to make the black leaves on teh dying trees rustle creepily. And just on the horizon, stood a lone figure, scary as can be. His body stood tall and had rippling muscles everywhere where there could be. His pelt was as dark as black cold get. The forest seemed to stare at him as everything froze as he entered the land. His dark orbs scanned the terra, his nostrils flaring. No life owned this area.. at least, not yet. Ears pinned, the stallion rose up onto his haunches and let out a terrifying scream. He landed with a thud, his hard hooves piercing the earth. This land was his now. With a snort, he proceeded onto his new land, the land that was told to be so deadly that none could live there. He was about to prove them wrong. He was Omaha.

Black rose, slowly walked along the ridge of a cliff, the mist covered her body. Her breathing was slow, and her Hooves made no sound..,Hermane swayed softly, and her eyes filled with anger. She flicked her tail and reared in the thick mist. her hooves swung in the air, and her body looked like a shadow ghost.The sun did not reach her, and that was a bless for her, eternal darkness she liked.

The oryx stallion gave a koud snort as eh inhaled the scents of his land. The wind, at first calm, was now blowing hard and vicously whipping his mane and tail around like flames. But it bother Omaha not one bit. HE proceeded forward at the slowest trot he could gather, ears back. He glanced at teh sky to see only dark black clouds, forever shielding the wood from teh sun. It was a dream come true for him, the sun burned hsi eyes and made his coat extremely warm. He nickered softly to himself, tehn continued to meander on.
Suddenly, he froze. A strange, unfamiliar scent whipped him like a rancher. He only pinned hsi ears harder. He would murder that intruder. He felt the ground with his hgooves, finding the exact location of the intruder. His eyes fklared with anger and he reared and let out a horribly painful neigh, and galloped in the direction of the intruder.
He finally found her, a lone appy mare that seemed almost to be lost. Yet at home in another way. he would change that. He charegd at her, mouth agape and ready for biting.

Black Rose looked at the stallion. She moved. the mis made her barley visible, she snorted and reared.
''Do not see me as an intruder, im moving on to somewhere eles'' she snorted and walked behind the stallion. Her mane whipped like someone slapping her hide. She kept her ears flat down hard, her sharp hooved left marks in the ground. And her dark, mysterious ways were eerie.

Omaha snorted and skidded when she moved out of the way, half expecting her to do that. He was barely visable as well, the darkness of the woods shrowding him. AS she stepepd behind him, he kciedk out aimed for her cesht. He then quickly jumped back for anythign she might thorw at him. He snoretdm, nostrils flaing. He eyed the mare, eyes flaring with anger. "

"Do as you have said then," he hissed rudely. He wanted her out and fast. He wasn't in much of a killing mood.

Rose let him kick her, she ignored the pain eaisly ''Hurt me if you want, im used to it'' she said, starting to walk. Her body seemd to dissapeer slowly in the mist. but still their, she walked.

Omaha's nostrils flared. So she was used to pain? She's nver felt real pain like he wnted to give her right now. He tossed his head, then gavge chse to her, hoping she'd gallop and she'd get out of there as fast as possible.

Black Rose flattend her ears and still walked, no matter how hard this stallion tried. She had been attacked by sharks,*Thrown over board by human* Cougars and lions. anything. She knew real pain. and would not fear this horse.

omaha neighed in annoyance. She was really wwrackign his nerves. He tooka chunk out of her neck adn cut ehr off. "Wrench, why don;t you move your lazy body out of here any faster?" He kicked her front leg and snorted, His deep almost black eys flaring with new hatred.

She dodged his attempt to hurt her. ''Do NOT push me'' ''Or i will not leave at all!'' she spat into his face ''Im not you're average mare'' ''Ive been attacked by sharks,cougars,lions,bears, and my father killed my family, and onne more thing....I killed him'' she snorted and walked around him.She started to trot.

Omaha looekd at ehr suspicously. "You kileld your father?" he mimicked. He snapped slightly at ehr when she walkde around him. UNder his breath, he mumbled, "impressive." but it was so quiet he couldnt even hear it. he didn't know if she even said it at all, just maybe thought it. He snorted as he watched her go, wishing that she'd move quicker.

''I killed my father and my sister'' she exclamed. 'And i have the marks on my face to proove it'' she walked up to him, and showed him her forhead. Her father's exact hoofmark; and a bloodstain on it. She lifted her head and shook her neck to let her mane fall over it.

Omaha swivled one ear, flicking a mayfly away. He listened to ehr little story and eyed her marks. What she was saying was true. He blinked. He could see why she killd ehr father. "Any reason for killing your sister?" he asked curiously, though tone still hrash. He would beat himself later for not killing her now.

''Not a reason'' she snorted harshly ''I just like to be alone, annoying happy horses, get on my nervs..So i murder them;'' she said then turnt.

Omaha actually swivled one ear... forward. This mare.. was like him. He'd never met sucha mare before. He nickered softly to himself. Fool! Don't fall over her! Omaha tossed his head slightly, then mumbled just loud enough so he could her, "Sounds extremely similiar to.. myself."

Black rose turnt one ear slowly, her eyes widend ''Poeple have always feared me, and spoke stories that i scare dragons away'' ''Or i haunt peoples souls'' ''It's most like true'' she said. her head raised

Omaha could almost not believe what eh was seeing and hearing. This fae, who had seemed just like a bratty mare at the start, was actually similar to him? They had things in common? Omaha snorted softly, his eyes no longer flaring, but almost, curious. Was this fae really speaking the truth? "I was feared the moment I was able to move. Stories had been said that I'm a pure insight of the devil, and also that I haunt the souls of the good and nice."

She flicked both ears at him, and turnt ''I am known as a fallen, or death angel. Whenever im around people, they Run...'' ''You are extreamly similar to me'' she said, her black eyes piercing into his.

Omaha tossed his head lightly, mane flying around to the otehr side of his neck. "My cursing is known as Omaha. As I enter a new terra, the creatures abondon immediately." Omaha swished his tail, listening to the truth reveal. You are extreamly similar to me... "Indeed, we are alike." he said, a bit hesitant about it.

''My name Is Death's black Rose'' ''Or black rose'' ''However you put it'' she said. She flicked her tail lightly and looked at the foggy place ''This land,It's peacefull and no happy joy joy mares or stallions... it is an amazingly great place to live'' se said and lfted her hoof off the ground. seeing the stallion's footprint near it when he had probably 1st claimed.

Omaha blinked, then moved his orbs around his land. The leaves on the trees where black, and fog shrouded everything that somehow lived there. Food was scarce, and clean water was difficult to find. He snorted softly, his nostirls flaring and taking his terra's scent in once again. "Exactly why I chose to claim it." he stated.

Blaxk rose scanned around once more ''I wish i could stay.. But you want me to leave'' she said. She snorted so soflty, and she perked her ears at rumbling rocks echoing in the distance.

Omaha also flicked both ears at trhe sound of rocks, then brushed it away. It would do him no harm. He wondered if maybe they would fall down to the dwellings of the good joyful horses and take away some of their lives. That would be fun to watch. He looekd at Black Rose, his mind puzzled. Normally he would agree, but this fae.... she was so different from the others. So much like him. For once, the glimmer of kindness that lived within the depth of his heart appeared. "I supposed you could stay for a while. You've been traviling a long time for a long way." he pinned his ers at the fact that for once, he'd actually been, nice.... He snorted angrily at himself.

''If you say so'' she said, waiting for him to move, then so she could. She shook her mane. She had never been so nice to a stallion, ever.He reminded of She. She shook her head and stood. the wind waas so black and trhin, she could see black wings on omaha, at one point in the conversation.

He turned his lagr bodice towards the east, so eh could explore his newly claimed land. He cantered in that direction, gait smooth as silk, but showed its power and agility. It seemed mostly the same everywhere. Dark, gloomy, and depressing. As he enjoyed it. He came to a stop on a dime, where he came across a dirty river. HE dipped his head down and took a sip. it tasted foul, yet like it was made for him.
